Una historia de transformación, empatía y conexión humana a través de la escucha.Jesús comparte su viaje desde un accidente que lo dejó cuadripléjico hasta descubrir que la verdadera forma de "ver" a las personas no está en los ojos, sino en los oídos.
Durante su rehabilitación en Cuba, mientras no podía tomar fotografías con su cámara, aprendió a "retratar" a las enfermeras que lo cuidaban simplemente escuchando sus historias de vida. Este descubrimiento lo llevó a entender la empatía no como ponerse en el lugar del otro, sino como un acto profundamente emocional.
En esta charla nos invita a conectar emocionalmente con quienes nos rodean a través de la atención plena, la identificación de emociones y la escucha sin juicio.
Lo que hace falta para ver de verdad a alguien no está en los ojos, sino en el oído. Originario de Tierra Caliente, Michoacán, Jesús es fotógrafo, comunicador y director del Festival Tragaluz de Fotografía e Imagen.
A los 21 años, un accidente en Cuba lo dejó cuadripléjico. Durante su rehabilitación, descubrió que la verdadera fotografía nace del alma: aprendió a "retratar" escuchando historias de vida. Cuando recuperó la movilidad, su mirada había cambiado para siempre: ya no solo observaba, ahora escuchaba con profundidad.
Cree que toda fotografía es un puente hacia la empatía, una invitación a reconocer que todos compartimos heridas, sueños y silencios. No retrata rostros, sino esencias; no busca lo estético, sino lo invisible en el otro.
