Der Aufsichtsrat des Ingolstädter Autobauers befasst sich in einer Sondersitzung mit dem angekündigten Bau eines Werks im US-Bundesstaat Georgia für 4,2 Milliarden Dollar. Die Entscheidung fällt in eine wirtschaftlich schwierige Phase: Audi kämpft mit Absatzproblemen, zugleich stehen Diskussionen über die Zukunft des Standorts Neckarsulm im Raum.
