Puan menyebut keabsenan kepala negara dalam forum Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) itu terjadi pada periode kepemimpinan yang lalu.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan Puan, di Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (15/7/2025).
"Itu kan di periode yang lalu, saya tentu saja berharap pada Pak Presiden Prabowo, Insya Allah nantinya tentu saja beliau akan hadir pada forum-forum internasional yang seperti PBB," kata Puan, di Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (15/7/2025).
Menurutnya, Prabowo akan aktif dalam banyak forum internasional.
Seperti halnya, salah satu forum terbaru yang dihadiri Prabowo ialah dalam Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) BRICS di Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.
Sebelumnya, Anies menyoroti absennya kehadiran RI 1 dalam sejumlah pertemuan penting di tingkat global, termasuk Sidang Umum PBB dalam beberapa tahun terakhir.
Anies menyebut, perwakilan Indonesia dalam forum global tersebut lebih sering diwakili oleh Menteri Luar Negeri, bukan oleh kepala negara.
