Pecoraro Scanio "Il futuro dell'agricoltura è in mano ai giovani"
UDINE (ITALPRESS) - "Il futuro dell'agricoltura è EcoDigital ed è in mano ai giovani". E' il messaggio lanciato da Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, Presidente della Fondazione UniVerde ed ex Ministro delle Politiche Agricole e dell'Ambiente, in occasione della XVIII edizione dell'Oscar Green, il premio promosso da Coldiretti Giovani Impresa per valorizzare l'innovazione in agricoltura. "Seguo l'Oscar Green fin dalla prima edizione," ha ricordato Pecoraro Scanio, "perché incarna esattamente lo spirito della legge sulla multifunzionalità agricola che ho avuto l'onore di firmare il 18 maggio 2001. Una legge che ha cambiato il volto dell'agricoltura italiana, rendendola un modello europeo per l'impegno dei giovani, delle donne e per lo sviluppo sostenibile dei territori". Secondo l'ex ministro, l'agricoltura deve essere al centro della doppia transizione, ecologica e digitale: "Non può esserci transizione senza un'agricoltura innovativa, attenta al territorio e capace di diventare presidio nella lotta al cambiamento climatico e nell'adattamento agli effetti globali".pc/mca3
