Trans Women Host International Women’s Day (NO CHICKS ALLOWED) 🦀🍆Australia celebrated International Women's Day this year with a Sydney event run entirely by men. Specifically, an International Women's Day event "for and by trans women" — organised by the Inner City Legal Centre, backed by UTS, and funded by the NSW Government's Women's agency to the tune of $24,860 of taxpayer money.
Workshops included vocal coaching, how to change your name and gender on official documents, and "Takedowns" — a session on scrubbing old photos of yourself from the internet. You know, from back when you were a man.
But the best part? Remember Sall Grover — the woman who got dragged through the courts and lost for excluding a trans woman from her women's only app Giggle? She bought a ticket. And the organisers refunded her and told her she wasn't welcome.
The woman who got sued for excluding a man from a women's space got excluded from a women's space by men.
