Lebih dari 5.000 Siswa Keracunan MBG: Polisi Sebut Labfor Temukan Bakteri, DPR Desak Evaluasi
KOMPAS.TV - Wakil Kepala BGN, Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, meminta maaf atas maraknya kasus keracunan program Makan Bergizi Gratis di sejumlah kota. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Gizi Nasional, Kementerian Kesehatan, serta Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan, lebih dari 5.000 siswa tercatat mengalami keracunan. Ia berjanji akan memperbaiki kualitas dan juga internal BGN agar kejadian keracunan tak lagi terulang.Polri pun sudah digandeng untuk mengusut kasus keracunan MBG ini. Seperti kasus yang terjadi di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, polisi langsung melakukan olah TKP di salah satu SPPG MBG. Polisi juga sudah menyerahkan seluruh sampel makanan yang dikonsumsi korban dan kini masih dalam uji di Labkesda Bogor dan Labfor Polri.
Tak hanya menggandeng Polri untuk mengusut kasus, Wakil Ketua DPR, Sufmi Dasco, setuju perlu dilakukan evaluasi menyeluruh terhadap program MBG. Dasco juga meminta agar investigasi lapangan harus dilakukan serius untuk mengetahui apakah keracunan yang menimpa para siswa di sejumlah daerah disebabkan karena kelalaian atau ada unsur kesengajaan.
Pemerintah perlu segera mengevaluasi dan membenahi pelaksanaan program Makan Bergizi Gratis. Usai kasus keracunan marak terjadi dalam sepekan, niat mulia pemerintah untuk mengatasi masalah gizi anak-anak Indonesia jangan lagi menimbulkan korban.
