TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Israel dilaporkan meningkatkan kewaspadaan jelang libur Rosh Hashanah, hingga pihak keamanan memperingatkan adanya potensi serangan teror di tengah situasi yang dinilai rawan.

Komisaris Polisi, Daniel Levi, memerintahkan langkah-langkah ekstra.

Mulai dari patroli tambahan, penindakan penduduk ilegal, hingga kesiapan menghadapi kerusuhan.

Polisi Perbatasan dan unit khusus juga dikerahkan di titik-titik vital.

Mengutip dari Ynetnews pada (22/9) bahwa di Yerusalem, pengamanan difokuskan pada jamaah di Kota Tua dan ribuan pengunjung yang tiba setiap malam.

Polisi melakukan patroli, koordinasi, dan pemantauan media sosial.

Dilaporkan dua warga Yerusalem Timur ditangkap karena diduga menghasut teror.

Satu di antaranya terbukti mengunggah konten memuji Hamas.

Puluhan orang sebelumnya juga sudah diamankan dengan kasus serupa.

Selain itu, di Tel Aviv, ratusan petugas disebar ke pusat belanja, pasar, dan tempat hiburan.

Bahkan, Komando Pusat IDF menambah dua batalion di Tepi Barat sehingga total ada 22 batalion yang berjaga.
