Denmark is buying US-made P-8 Poseidon and MQ-4 Triton amid rising tensions in the Arctic. Denmark's Ministry of Defence says the aircraft will be used in the security of the Arctic and North Atlantic, including Greenland. The deal was announced at the NATO summit in Turkey. During the summit US President Donald Trump threatened to take control of Greenland. Danish Prime Minister Mette Fredericksen responded by saying that Greenland was not up for sale.
