Fratelli d'Italia ha chiuso la campagna elettorale per le elezioni europee con una manifestazione in piazza del Popolo a Roma. Lo slogan scelto dal partito della premier Meloni è "Con Giorgia l'Italia cambia l'Europa". Fdi però deve stare in equilibrio tra gli attacchi alla nomenklatura europea e il fatto che già da quasi due anni ormai il governo di centrodestra sieda ai tavoli delle riunioni di capi di governo e ministri Ue. C'è poi il tema delle alleanze nella prossima legislatura europea: a parte il netto rifiuto a stringere accordi con i socialisti (che pure potrebbero essere necessari per ottenere la maggioranza) non è ancora chiaro con chi Meloni e i suoi intendano allearsi per provare a guidare l'Unione e scegliere le sue figure di vertice.
