Seit etwa 70 Jahren heißt es: Bald ist sie da, die Kernfusion – und damit eine saubere und quasi unendliche Energiequelle. Und aktuell stehen die Zeichen so gut wie nie, dass diese Technologie tatsächlich in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft einsatzbereit sein könnte. Denn bessere Technik, neue Start-Ups und auch künstliche Intelligenz bringen frischen Wind in die Debatte und stimmen die Politik optimistisch. Doch kommt nun tatsächlich bald der Durchbruch?
