I quattro giovani nordafricani, tra i 19 e i 21 anni, hanno cominciato a seguire il 34enne svizzero, con un orologio da 40 mila euro al polso, già quando si trovava a bordo del treno partito da Lugano con destinazione Milano Centrale. Una volta giunto in stazione, lo hanno pedinato sino a giungere in via Vittor Pisani dove, approfittando delle condizioni favorevoli, l'hanno circondato e aggredito per poi strappargli l'orologio e darsi alla fuga. Le immagini delle telecamere hanno permesso alla polizia di identificarli: uno è stato arrestato, due si trovavano già in carcere per altre rapine e il quarto è ricercato.
