Die Landtagswahl in Baden-Württemberg bringt klare Gewinner und Verlierer hervor. Der Erfolg von Cem Özdemir gilt vor allem als persönlicher Triumph und weniger als Parteisieg der Grünen. Schon vor der Wahl galt eine Koalition aus Union und Grünen als wahrscheinlich – offen war nur, wer den Ministerpräsidenten stellt. Dramatisch fällt hingegen das Ergebnis für SPD und FDP aus. Die FDP verpasst im eigenen Stammland den Einzug über die fünf Prozent. Noch härter trifft es die SPD: Sie fährt vermutlich ihr schlechtestes Landtagswahlergebnis seit Gründung der Bundesrepublik ein. Politische Folgen auf Bundesebene könnten schnell folgen.
