How to Get Back Into Art and Stick With It
If you’ve taken a long break from drawing, it can feel like you lost your skills completely.In this video, I talk about 3 things that actually helped me get back into art without treating myself like I had to start over from zero. We’ll get into patience, rebuilding confidence, lowering expectations, and why focusing on your strengths can sometimes help you grow faster than obsessing over every weakness.
I also talk about the idea of strengths-based development from Gallup’s research, and how that idea connects to art, style, confidence, and finding your way back into drawing.
Mostly though? This is just a chill drawing session and a conversation about getting comfortable making art again.
