Giada Bocellari, avvocata di Alberto Stasi, torna sul confronto tra il DNA prelevato dai pedali della bicicletta e quello del reperto 29, il cucchiaino utilizzato da Chiara Poggi. Secondo la legale, sul cucchiaino sarebbe stata rilevata una quantità di DNA pari a 2,78 nanogrammi per microlitro, ma le successive analisi non avrebbero restituito un profilo genetico leggibile. L’attribuzione alla vittima sarebbe quindi avvenuta, secondo i consulenti della legale, attraverso un’assegnazione manuale dei marcatori e non automaticamente da parte del software.La stessa quantità di DNA sarebbe stata rilevata sul campione dei pedali dopo la purificazione, nonostante una prima quantificazione avesse dato un risultato inibito. Da questa coincidenza Bocellari ipotizza un possibile scambio accidentale tra i campioni durante le operazioni di laboratorio, escludendo comunque qualsiasi intenzionalità.
