Nadiem Makarim Beri Pernyataan Terkait Dugaan Korupsi Pengadaan Laptop di Kemendikbud | Narasi Daily
Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan periode 2019–2024, Nadiem Makarim, angkat bicara soal kasus dugaan korupsi pengadaan 1,1 juta laptop Chromebook di Kemendikbud.Ia membantah tudingan memaksakan penggunaan Chromebook, dan menjelaskan program itu digulirkan saat pandemi COVID-19 untuk mencegah learning loss (penurunan kemampuan belajar), khususnya di sekolah yang sudah memiliki akses internet.
Nadiem menekankan proses pengadaan dilakukan secara terbuka lewat e-catalog LKPP, didampingi oleh Kejaksaan dan BPKP. Hasil audit menunjukkan lebih dari 90% laptop digunakan secara optimal, bahkan harga pembelian lebih rendah dari harga katalog.
Sementara itu, Kejaksaan Agung menemukan indikasi pemufakatan jahat dalam penyusunan kajian teknis pengadaan. Hasil uji coba 1.000 Chromebook pada 2019 juga dinilai tidak efektif sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Adapun total anggaran dalam program ini mencapai Rp9,9 triliun.
"Saya menghormati dan mendukung sepenuhnya proses hukum yang sedang berlangsung, penegakan hukum yang adil dan transparan adalah pondasi negara yang demokratis. Saya siap bekerja sama dan mendukung aparat penegak hukum dengan memberikan keterangan atau klarifikasi apabila diperlukan," ujar Nadiem dalam konferensi pers, Selasa (10/6/2025).
