Amiral Cihat Yaycı’ya göre: Almanların Patriot göndermesi mesaj

Almanya’nın Türkiye’ye ani bir kararla Patriot hava savunma sistemi konuşlandırma girişimi, küresel diplomatik ve askeri dengelerde ne anlama geliyor? Türkiye'nin meşru hava savunma ihtiyacı doğrultusunda aldığı S-400 sistemleri müttefikler tarafından sürekli bir baskı unsuru olarak kullanılırken, komşu Yunanistan'ın elindeki S-300'leri modernize etmesi ve üstüne Batı'dan Patriot alması büyük bir çelişki barındırıyor.

Cihat Yaycı'nın vurguladığı üzere; çözüm son derece net: Türkiye, hava savunmasını asla dışarıdan gelecek inisiyatiflere bırakmamalı. Yerli ve milli hava savunma konseptimiz olan "Çelik Kubbe" projesinin hayati önem taşıdığını belirten Yaycı, Atatürk'ün 1924'teki donanma vizyonuna atıfta bulunarak tam bağımsız bir savunma ağının ve yerli sanayinin inşa edilmesinin tarihi bir zorunluluk olduğunu ifade ediyor.
