SUMUT, KOMPAS.TV - Anggota DPRD Sumut, Ajie Karim, dicopot dari jabatannya sebagai sekretaris Komisi C usai viral video dugem bersama istrinya. Kini, Ajie Karim dipindahkan menjadi anggota biasa di Komisi A DPRD Sumut.Anggota DPRD Sumatera Utara, Ajie Karim, mendapat sorotan usai videonya sedang berjoget di tempat hiburan malam viral di media sosial.
Ajie makin disorot, terlebih video itu mencuat saat maraknya penolakan masyarakat terhadap tunjangan anggota dewan.
Usai viral, Fraksi Partai Gerindra telah melakukan teguran terhadap Ajie dan mencopot jabatannya sebagai sekretaris Komisi C.
Menurut pengakuan Ajie, video itu diambil dua tahun lalu. Namun, karena desakan masyarakat, Partai Gerindra tetap memberikan sanksi terhadap Ajie.
