Schießerei in US-Burgerladen: Schütze macht Jagd auf Menschen

Neue Überwachungs- und Bodycam-Aufnahmen zeigen die dramatischen Minuten eines tödlichen Angriffs auf ein In-N-Out-Burger-Restaurant in Twin Falls im US-Bundesstaat Idaho. Der 24-jährige Chad Williams eröffnet das Feuer auf Mitarbeiter und Kunden. Menschen fliehen in Panik, Angestellte suchen Schutz vor den Kugeln. Ein dienstfreier Polizist versucht noch, Menschen in Sicherheit zu bringen. Nach der Schießerei verfolgen Einsatzkräfte den Täter über einen Wanderweg. Die nun veröffentlichten Aufnahmen dokumentieren seine letzten Momente vor dem Eintreffen der Polizei. Drei Menschen sterben, mehrere weitere werden verletzt. Nach Angaben der Ermittler handelte Williams allein. Ein Motiv für die Tat konnten die Behörden bislang nicht ermitteln.
