Schwetzingen: Am Freitagmorgen gegen 7:30 Uhr kam es auf der B291 zwischen Schwetzingen und Hockenheim zu einem schweren Verkehrsunfall. Eine Frau war mit ihrem Opel in Richtung Hockenheim unterwegs, als sie offenbar aus gesundheitlichen Gründen die Kontrolle über ihr Fahrzeug verlor. Sie geriet nach rechts von der Fahrbahn und prallte frontal gegen einen Baum.Die Fahrerin wurde nach der notärztlichen Erstversorgung ins Krankenhaus gebracht. Während der Unfallaufnahme war die B291 halbseitig gesperrt. Der Verkehr wurde wechselseitig an der Unfallstelle vorbeigeleitet, wodurch es nur zu geringen Verzögerungen kam.
