Sikap Ketua DPD RI La Nyalla Mattalitti lah yang membuat senator marah.
Momen ini terjadi saat Ketua DPD RI La Nyalla Mattalitti membacakan rancangan perubahan tata tertib (tatib), yang telah dikerjakan oleh Pansus Tatib maupun Timja Tatib.
Di sela itu, seorang anggota DPD RI memberikan interupsi menolak perubahan tata tertib itu.
Namun, interupsi tersebut tidak direspons oleh La Nyalla dan ia tetap membacakan perubahan tata tertib.
Tindakan La Nyalla kemudian memantik amarah sejumlah senator lain.
Mereka turut berteriak melayangkan interupsi.
Suasana panas itu kemudian memuncak ketika La Nyalla selesai membacakan laporan dan draf tata tertib dan akan mengesahkan kedua hal tersebut.
Sejumlah senator bahkan langsung menghampiri meja La Nyalla dan menunjuk Ketua DPD RI tersebut agar tidak mengesahkan laporan dan draf tata tertib.
Tak hanya itu, sempat terjadi perebutan palu sidang ketika sejumlah senator mewanti-wanti agar La Nyalla tidak mengesahkan laporan dan tata tertib tersebut.
Sejumlah Pamdal pun kemudian membentuk barikade agar tak terjadi kericuhan hingga adu jotos di meja pimpinan DPD RI.
Pimpinan sidang pun memutuskan agar sidang diskors selama 10-15 menit untuk meredakan suasana.
Sebelum insiden kericuhan, di tengah rapat, La Nyalla Mahmud Mattalitti meninggalkan ruangan selama beberapa menit.
Hal ini memantik interupsi Senator asal Papua Barat, Filep Wamafma.
Ia mempertanyakan sikap pimpinan DPD yang malah keluar ruang rapat untuk merokok.
"Interupsi 134, pimpinan izin, ini penting sekali. Ini sangat penting saya baru saja keluar ke toilet saya melihat Ketua DPD lagi merokok di luar," kata Felip.
Ia pun meminta agar La Nyalla segera kembali ke ruang rapat.
Saat ditemui di luar ruang rapat saat skors, La Nyalla membantah merokok.
