Ia harus dipenjara selama tujuh tahun karena dianggap bagian dari PKI meskipun sama sekali tak ada bukti atas tuduhan tersebut.
Kini, di usia 84 tahun, Nani Nurani kembali mengenang kisah hidupnya yang penuh kebanggaan sekaligus luka sejarah.
Tim Tribun Jakarta berkesempatan menemui Nani di kediamannya di Koja, Jakarta Utara untuk mendengarkan langsung cerita masa lalu penuh luka dari wanita yang menjadi bagian dari sejarah bangsa.(*)
