A moving participatory performance featuring Vardina Cohen together with the audience of TEDxJaffaWomen.During this special moments, two beloved Hebrew songs are performed as a shared musical experience, dissolving the boundary between stage and audience and turning collective presence into harmony. Originally performed by Leah Shabat Vardina comes from a musical family and began performing at a young age, including during her service in the IDF’s performing arts division. She studied classical piano, theater, and acting, and holds a degree in Music Education.
Her debut album, produced by Danny Robas, featured several hit songs. Her second album revisited beloved Israeli classics, while her third, produced by her husband, musician Ben Ze’ev Zur, reflected their artistic partnership. Together, they perform in Israel and abroad in the project Songs from Home. Recently, she released a new song written and composed by her son, Keshet Ben Ze’ev. Vardina is a former member of the Israeli Theater Awards Academy. She teaches music and vocal development.
