Canciller chino se reúne con expresidenta de Chile
El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores chino, Wang Yi, se reunió el martes en Beijing con la expresidenta chilena Michelle Bachelet, quien se encuentra en Beijing para asistir a la Conferencia de Líderes Mundiales sobre la Mujer.Wang, también miembro del Buró Político del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de China, manifestó que Bachelet es una estadista de renombre mundial y una amiga de larga data del pueblo chino. Además, le expresó su esperanza de que ella continúe con sus esfuerzos para apoyar la misión de las Naciones Unidas y contribuir a la paz y estabilidad mundiales.
A su vez, Bachelet felicitó a China por organizar con éxito la Conferencia de Líderes Mundiales sobre la Mujer, señalando que la amistad entre Chile y China tiene profundas raíces históricas.
