TÜİK'in 2026 ikinci çeyrek verilerine göre işsizlik oranı yüzde 7,9'a geriledi.Bu, Türkiye'de son 21 yılın en düşük işsizlik oranlarından biri.
Ancak işgücü piyasasına daha geniş bir açıdan bakıldığında tablo değişiyor: İşsizlerin yanı sıra daha fazla çalışmak istediği halde yeterince çalışamayanları ve çalışmaya hazır olup iş aramayanları da kapsayan atıl işgücü oranı yüzde 29,7'ye ulaşıyor.
