Duisburg hat mehrere Brennpunkte und viele Probleme. Es geht um mangelnde Integration von Zuwanderern, illegal besetzte Wohnungen, heruntergekommene Immobilien und Müll, der nicht abgeholt wird. Viele Duisburger fühlen sich von den Regierenden im Stich gelassen und einige Teile von Duisburg drohen unterzugehen – nicht durch klimabedingte Überschwemmungen, sondern durch eine Flut von Zuwanderern aus Osteuropa. Ein Vorwurf, der politisch äußerst unkorrekt klingt, aber wenn er von Menschen geäußert wird, die selbst vor Jahren als Gastarbeiter nach Deutschland kamen, dann sollte man ihn nicht bewerten, sondern ernst nehmen.
