AS Sindir Keras Prancis yang Ingin Akui Negara Palestina: Dirikan Saja di French Riviera

Dalam pernyataan, Huckabee menyarankan Prancis agar memberikan sebagian wilayah French Riviera untuk mendirikan negara Palestina jika memang sangat menginginkan solusi dua negara.
Dalam wawancara bersama Fox News pada Sabtu (31/5/2025), Huckabee awalnya menyoroti rencana Prancis dan Arab Saudi yang akan menggelar konferensi internasional di PBB.
Konferensi tersebut bertujuan menghidupkan kembali wacana solusi dua negara, yang selama ini ditentang oleh Israel.
Huckabee menilai bahwa rencana Prancis tidak tepat karena Israel saat ini masih dalam situasi perang.
Ia pun menyindir Prancis yang seolah-olah sangat ingin Palestina merdeka.
Menurut Huckabee, Prancis bisa merelakan sebagian wilayah French Riviera untuk mendirikan negara Palestina.
"Kalau Prancis begitu berhasrat melihat berdirinya negara Palestina, saya punya saran dirikan saja Palestina di sebagian French Riviera," ujar Huckabee.
Sebagai informasi, French Riviera adalah sebutan untuk pantai-pantai yang indah di pesisir selatan Prancis.
Keindahan alamnya membuat para pelancong dari Eropa hingga benua lain mendatangi kawasan tersebut.
Sementara itu, Prancis belakangan semakin vokal mendukung Palestina.
Presiden Prancis Emmanuel Macron mengajak negara-negara Eropa untuk menekan Israel jika situasi di Gaza tak kunjung membaik.
Pernyataan inilah yang membuat Israel marah hingga menuduh Macron mengobarkan perang salib terhadap negara Yahudi.
