Su questo scenario interviene il filosofo Diego Fusaro, che parla senza mezzi termini di una priorità capovolta da parte delle istituzioni comunitarie. "L'Unione Europea spende più soldi nel tentativo di danneggiare la Russia di Putin di quanti non ne spenda per tutelare il benessere dei cittadini europei", sostiene il filosofo, riferendosi in particolare ai pacchetti sanzionatori che, a suo giudizio, avrebbero un effetto boomerang sull'economia continentale.
