Hingga Jumat sore, upaya pencarian korban yang tertimbun longsor tambang galian C di Gunungkuda, Kabupaten Cirebon, masih terus dilakukan. Sejumlah keluarga korban berdatangan ke lokasi kejadian untuk memastikan kondisi anggota keluarga mereka yang bekerja di tambang tersebut.Keluarga korban yang datang ke lokasi longsor mengaku terpukul setelah mendengar kabar bahwa anggota keluarga mereka menjadi korban. Hingga Jumat sore, ambulans masih berdatangan untuk mengangkut jenazah korban longsor. Upaya pencarian juga terus dilakukan oleh petugas gabungan dengan menggunakan eskavator guna menyingkirkan material bebatuan yang menumpuk di bawah tebing yang longsor.
Seorang pekerja tambang yang selamat menuturkan bahwa kejadian longsor terjadi secara mengerikan dan mendadak. Saat kejadian, terdapat banyak pekerja dan beberapa orang lain di lokasi tersebut.
Korban meninggal dunia dilarikan ke Rumah Sakit Arjawinangun, sementara korban luka-luka dibawa ke Rumah Sakit Sumber Hurip untuk mendapatkan pertolongan medis.
