Marcin Moskalewicz is a Senior Researcher in AI at IDEAS Research Institute in Warsaw. He coordinates the Phenomenology and Mental Health Network at the Centre for Values-Based Practice in Health and Social Care at St. Catherine's College, University of Oxford, and holds an Associate Professorship at Poznan University of Medical Sciences. His work moves between two questions that turn out to be the same one: how human beings actually experience time, presence, and meaning, and what these first-person realities reveal about the systems we now ask to think on our behalf. His talk turns that lens on artificial intelligence and asks what is, and is not, on the other side of the screen. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
