“No hablo con marxistas”: Díaz-Balart y Gimenez frenan provocación de activista de The Code Pink
Una activista conocida como la loquita de The Code Pink interceptó en un aeropuerto a los congresistas Mario Díaz‑Balart y Carlos Giménez, intentando provocar un enfrentamiento público con consignas sobre política exterior y “opinión mayoritaria”. La escena quedó registrada en video y circula en redes.La reacción de Díaz-Balart fue inmediata y tajante: rechazó dialogar con lo que calificó como activismo marxista pagado, cortando el intercambio sin elevar el tono. Para Alex Otaola, ese gesto explica por qué estos congresistas son blanco recurrente: no conceden legitimidad a provocaciones diseñadas para viralizarse.
Otaola subraya un patrón: escraches en aeropuertos, cifras infladas y mensajes alineados con la narrativa demócrata-pro-apaciguamiento, justo contra legisladores que han sido firmes frente al castrismo, Venezuela y la seguridad nacional. No es casualidad —dice— que los busquen donde hay cámaras.
El objetivo, según el análisis, es erosionar la confianza en los representantes cubanoamericanos de cara a los ciclos electorales de 2026 y 2028, instalando la idea de que “no sirven”. Otaola concluye: se puede criticar políticas puntuales, pero entre un demócrata complaciente y quienes enfrentan a las dictaduras, la elección es clara.
