Alex Otaola reaccionó a las palabras del senador Marco Rubio, quien adelantó que podrían revocar visas a quienes se alegraron del asesinato de Charlie Kirk. El influencer cubanoamericano no tardó en poner nombres sobre la mesa: Mónica Baró y Carlos Manuel Álvarez, a quienes señaló como parte de esa izquierda disfrazada que, según él, nunca ha representado una verdadera alternativa para Cuba.Otaola arremetió contra Baró por presentarse como víctima de la Seguridad del Estado y a la vez disfrutar de becas y oportunidades en Estados Unidos. “No queremos callarte, Mónica, queremos que no estés aquí, porque no representas lo que merece estar en este país”, dijo, subrayando que hay millones de jóvenes cubanos que aprovecharían mucho mejor esas oportunidades.
También cargó contra Carlos Manuel Álvarez, a quien llamó “el paracaidista de San Isidro” y acusó de escribir desde España artículos que justifican la violencia contra líderes conservadores en EE.UU. “No son opositores, son comentaristas de comentarios incómodos, intelectuales moj… que no han hecho nada por la libertad de nadie”, sentenció Otaola.
