Warmongering raises its ugly face in every corner of the US and Europe these days. And the progressive movement is no different. Here is an example of well educated, well established progressive liberal academics making the argument for even more US interventionism around the world. Most outrageously, they do so in the name of "fighting imperialism", accusing those who would want to use diplomacy and statesmanship in International relations and don't want the US Empire to span around the world, of hypocrisy. Shameless.To help with this task I got again Dr. Christopher Mott with me. Chris is a scholar at the Institute for Peace and Diplomacy. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of St Andrews and he is the author of the book “The Formless Empire: A Short History of Diplomacy and Warfare in Central Asia.”
