DROHNENABSCHUSS ÜBER POLEN: Krisengespräch im UN-Sicherheitsrat! Russland weist Schuld von sich

Mehr als zwei Dutzend Länder haben bei den Vereinten Nationen ihre große Besorgnis angesichts der Verletzungen des polnischen Luftraums durch russische Drohnen ausgedrückt. Eine entsprechende Erklärung trug der stellvertretende polnische Außenminister Marcin Bosacki vor Beginn einer Sondersitzung des UN-Sicherheitsrats zu dem Thema in New York vor Journalistinnen und Journalisten vor. Auch die deutsche UN-Vertretung unterstützte die Erklärung.

Bei der anschließenden Sitzung sagte die UN-Beauftragte für politische Angelegenheiten, Rosemary DiCarlo, der Vorfall verdeutliche «den gefährlichen Einfluss dieses Krieges auf die Sicherheit in der Region und das Risiko der Eskalation». Sie forderte erneut eine sofortige Waffenruhe.

Bei einem russischen Luftangriff auf die Ukraine in der Nacht auf Mittwoch war auch eine große Zahl an Drohnen in den Luftraum Polens und damit der Nato geflogen. Die polnische Luftwaffe und andere Nato-Verbündete schossen erstmals einige russische Drohnen ab.
