Pengacara MRR, Muhamad Normansyah dalam keterangan pada Sabtu (13/7/2024) mengatakan, pelaku juga membobol rekening milik kliennya.
Pelaku disebut memaksa MRR memberitahu kata sandi dan PIN pribadi.
Uang tersebut kemudian digunakan pelaku untuk melakukan judi online.
Meski begitu, Normansyah enggan untuk mengungkap nominal uang yang diambil dari rekening MRR.
Sebagai informasi, penyekapan dan penganiayaan ini dimulai pada tanggal 19 Februari hingga 30 Mei 2024.
Pemicu kejadian ini lantaran MRR tak mampu melunasi utang pembayaran penjualan mobil yang harusnya dibagi dengan sistem 60/40.
MRR mulanya berniat membayarkan uang hasil penjualan pada rekannya H secara bertahap.
Namun utang tersebut membengkak dari Rp 100 juta menjadi Rp 300 juta, disinyalir ada dugaan pemerasan.
Saat ini polisi belum menetapkan tersangka dan masih meminta keterangan para saksi termasuk korban MRR.
Sedangkan MRR kini disebut mengalami trauma berat akibat penganiayaan tersebut.
