Il presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, ha presenziato nella mattinata di martedì 28 ottobre alle celebrazioni ufficiali per il centenario del gruppo sportivo sciatori Fiamme gialle e per il 60esimo del Soccorso alpino della Guardia di finanza. Il capo dello Stato è arrivato al Castello del Buonconsiglio di Trento, dove è stato accolto dagli applausi della folla e dall'inno nazionale. Mattarella ha poi incontrato il presidente della Provincia autonoma di Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, ed è stato ricordato dal ministro dell'Economia Giancarlo Giorgetti: «La sua autorevole presenza, signor presidente, ci onora particolarmente, testimonia la sua vicinanza alla Guardia di finanza e gratifica i finanzieri per il loro generoso, quotidiano impegno a servizio della collettività».
