Heiligkreuzsteinach: Am Sonntagmittag ereignete sich auf der L535 bei Heiligkreuzsteinach ein tragischer Verkehrsunfall. Nach ersten Erkenntnissen war ein 25-jähriger Fahrer mit einem Ferrari auf der kurvenreichen Strecke in Richtung Absteinach unterwegs, als er die Kontrolle über den Sportwagen verlor. Das Auto kam nach links von der Fahrbahn ab, prallte gegen einen Baum, stürzte mehrere Meter eine Böschung hinab und geriet sofort in Brand.Als die Rettungskräfte eintrafen, stand der Wagen bereits in Vollbrand. Für den jungen Fahrer kam jede Hilfe zu spät – er verstarb noch an der Unfallstelle.
Die L535 blieb zwischen Hilsenhain und Unter-Absteinach für rund sieben Stunden voll gesperrt. Notfallseelsorger betreuten sowohl Einsatzkräfte als auch Angehörige.
