Drei Jahre ist es nun schon her: In der Nacht des 14. Juli traten nach heftigem Dauerregen in mehreren Regionen in Rheinland-Pfalz und Nordrhein-Westfalen viele Flüsse über die Ufer und wurden zu reißenden Strömen. Mehr als 180 Menschen starben in NRW und Rheinland-Pfalz, davon allein 135 im Ahrtal. Hunderte wurden verletzt, Zehntausende verloren Hab und Gut. Der Aufbau läuft immer noch.Auch bei der Bahn, die sich ehrgeizige Ziele gesetzt hat, um die teils komplett zerstörten Tunnel, Gleise und Brücken möglichst schnell wieder in Betrieb nehmen zu können. Moma-Reporter Christian Kretschmer hat Bauingenieurin Anja Opdenberg einen Tag lang begleitet.
