KOMPAS.TV - Vita Azahra, anak pasangan suami istri tunanetra yang tertolak sistem penerimaan peserta didik baru SMA jalur afirmasi akhirnya bisa bernapas lega.Pemerintah Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah akhirnya menjamin Vita tetap bisa melanjutkan pendidikan, mendapatkan fasilitas sekolah yang layak.
Meski anaknya tidak bisa melanjutkan pendidikan di sekolah negeri, pasangan tunanetra yang berprofesi sebagai tukang pijat tersebut bersyukur, Vita akhirnya bisa melanjutkan pendidikan yang dijamin Wali Kota Semarang.
Sebelumnya, Vita Azahra terancam tak bisa sekolah lewat jalur afirmasi lantaran terkendala data terpadu kesejahteraan sosial kementerian sosial.
Hal tersebut sempat membuat Vita kecewa.
