[Neuer GW-KATS SH!] Einsatzfahrten während Katastrophenschutzübung im Kreis Nordfriesland

Hier zu sehen, sind verschiedene Einsatzfahrzeuge während einer Katastrophenschutzübung in Mildstedt (Kreis Nordfriesland). Der Kreis Nordfriesland probte am 18.10.2025 das Vorgehen bei einer schweren Unwetterlage. Hierbei kam es auch zu einer Überlastung des Regelrettungsdienstes.

Beteiligt waren der Rettungsdienst des Kreises Nordfriesland, das DRK, die Regieeinheit IuK sowie die Kreisbereitschaften der Feuerwehren und die DLRG.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist in diesem Video der neue Gerätewagen Katastrophenschutz des Landes Schleswig-Holstein. Dieser wird nach und nach beschafft und soll unter Anderem bei Ausfällen der Energieversorgung zum Einsatz kommen. Das Land Schleswig-Holstein beschafft aktuell viele Fahrzeuge für den Katastrophenschutz. Neben den bereits bekannten Löschfahrzeugen Katastrophenschutz kurz LF KATS, gibt es nun auch die Mehrzweckfahrzeuge Katastrophenschutz Schleswig-Holstein kurz MZF-KATS SH und den hier zu sehenden GW-KATS SH.

On October 18, 2025, the district of Nordfriesland conducted a drill to test procedures for responding to a severe weather situation. As part of the exercise, the regular emergency medical service became overloaded.

Participants included the Nordfriesland district emergency medical service, the German Red Cross (DRK), the command and communications unit (IuK), as well as the district fire service units and the DLRG (German Life Saving Association).

A special highlight in this video is the new disaster control equipment truck of the state of Schleswig-Holstein. This vehicle type is currently being procured step by step and is intended, among other things, for use in the event of power supply failures. The state of Schleswig-Holstein is currently acquiring numerous vehicles for disaster control. In addition to the already well-known disaster control fire engines (LF-KATS), there are now also the multi-purpose vehicles for disaster control Schleswig-Holstein (MZF-KATS SH) and the equipment truck shown here (GW-KATS SH).
