Ia mengaku tak masalah jika gaji anggota DPR dikurangi semua.
“Silakan kalau buat saya mau dikurangin semua juga gak masalah. Terserah saja,” ujar Rieke di Karet Bivak pada Jumat (29/8/2025).
Rieke mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh rakyat atas kritik yang diberikan.
Ia berharap kritikan tersebut tidak berhenti agar ada perbaikan dan kebijakan yang lebih baik termasuk payung hukum bagi pengemudi ojek online.
Rieke meminta agar kasus Affan Kurniawan driver ojol yang meninggal dilindas Brimob saat terjadi aksi demo DPR diusut tuntas.
Sementara itu sebelumnya Rieke sempat menghadiri pemakaman Affan bersama dengan ratusan massa ojek online.
Rieke bersama keluarga korban dan ratusan ojek online hadir saat Affan dimakamkan.
Adapun Rieke sendiri menjadi salah satu anggota DPR RI yang kerap menyuarakan isu-isu sosial, politik dan budaya di Indonesia, terutama yang tengah ramai diperbincangkan.
