Teherán sopesa tomar represalias tras la reimposición de sanciones de la ONU

Naciones Unidas confirmó la reactivación de las sanciones contra Irán. El Parlamento del país denunció que la reimposición de las medidas punitivas, levantadas en 2015, es ilegal. El portavoz de la cámara, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, advirtió de que Teherán sopesa tomar medidas de represalia, pero reiteró que mantiene abierta la puerta de la diplomacia.

El jefe del Estado Mayor de las Fuerzas Armadas de Irán advirtió que el Ejército iraní está preparado para responder con decisión ante cualquier amenaza o acto de agresión. Las sanciones reimpuestas por la ONU penalizan el desarrollo de los programas nuclear y de misiles del país. Entraron en vigor el sábado, después de que Francia, Alemania y Reino Unido activaran el mecanismo de reanudación de medidas punitivas, en el marco del acuerdo nuclear de 2015.
