Le indagini hanno documentato, anche con materiale video, violenze fisiche - schiaffi, pugni, spinte e calci - e abusi verbali, con urla e minacce, all'interno di un centro diurno per disabili psichici e persone con disturbi dello spettro autistico. Misure cautelari sono scattate nei confronti di sette persone. Due sono finite agli arresti domiciliari, altre cinque sottoposte alla misura interdittiva del divieto temporaneo di svolgere attività lavorative, anche a titolo di volontariato, comportanti contatti diretti con soggetti fragili. I provvedimenti riguardano il presidente di un’associazione operante nel terzo settore e sei tra volontari e appartenenti al servizio civile universale, tutti in servizio presso un centro diurno per disabili psichici e persone con disturbi dello spettro autistico, gravemente indiziati di avere concorso nei reati di maltrattamenti aggravati ed esercizio abusivo della professione infermieristica.
