SSC CGL Tier 1 2026 Last 30 Days Strategy | The Approach that got me Rank 1
The last 30 days before SSC CGL Tier 1 are crucial. At this stage, the focus should shift from learning everything from scratch to practice, revision, mock tests and improving your exam performance. In this video, I share my approach to the final 30 days, with a clear emphasis on making mocks + revision the core of your preparation.
What should you focus on in the last 30 days?
1. Mocks & Practice
Make mock tests an integral part of your preparation. The PPT recommends using at least 2–3 mock-test platforms and following a combination of full mocks and sectional practice.
2. Mock Analysis
Don't simply attempt a mock, check your score and move on. Mock analysis is a must. Identify your weak areas, review them and revisit them thoroughly after a few days.
3. Daily Revision
Revision should happen alongside your mocks. For Maths, revise concepts and notes, work through questions and revisit important questions. For English, focus on the areas you need daily, including vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, RC and Cloze Test. For GK, follow a structured concept-revision approach.
4. Current Affairs & GK
The final phase is also the time to consolidate Current Affairs. The PPT specifically highlights areas such as Awards, Science & Space, Sports and Government Schemes, along with chapter tests and live mocks.
5. Consistent Practice
The aim in these final days is not to constantly change your preparation strategy. Build consistency, analyse your performance and keep improving your weak areas.
The goal should be to enter the examination hall with strong revision, sufficient mock practice and a clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses.
If you are preparing for SSC CGL Tier 1, watch the complete video and use this final 30-day framework to structure your preparation.
All the best for your preparation!
