Sean does the opposite: he finds the light, reads the space and waits for the picture to walk into it. It's an approach that's shaped his street work, his portraits and his new book, The Art of Street Photography, co-written with Joshua K. Jackson.
We'll be talking about how Sean got started in photography after a very different first career, and how he finds and works with light on the street. We'll also get into his one light, one lens approach to portraits, the thinking behind the new book, and the harder side of being creative: envy, chasing validation, and making work for the right reasons. He's also just back from leading a street photography trip through Morocco, so expect a few stories from that too.
