La Guerra Civil Española dejó heridas que todavía permanecen abiertas. Algunas aparecen en los libros de historia; otras quedaron enterradas entre montañas, en el silencio de quienes tuvieron que huir y en la memoria de quienes nunca pudieron contar lo que vivieron.En este documental viajamos hasta el Valle de Sobrarbe para conocer la historia de la Bolsa de Bielsa, uno de los episodios más duros y menos conocidos de la Guerra Civil en el Pirineo. Junto a José Luis Palomeque, vecino de la comarca, y Carlos Vico, experto en supervivencia, recreamos los pasos de aquellas familias que atravesaron las montañas hacia Francia, en pleno invierno, sin apenas comida ni medios. Nos ponemos en su piel, recorremos sus caminos y tratamos de comprender qué significa abandonar tu hogar para sobrevivir. Una historia de guerra, exilio, supervivencia y memoria que, décadas después, todavía resuena entre estas montañas.
