At the Raisina Dialogue 2026, General Stephen N. Whiting, Commander, US Space Command, said the US Space Command was involved in recent operations related to Iran and Venezuela. In a conversation with Firstpost's Managing Editor, Palki Sharma, he said, "Yes, US Space command has been involved in those operations because the way US Military conducts operation is what we refer to as multi-domain." He explained that space capabilities are foundational to how the United States Joint Force operates, providing critical support such as satellite communications, the global positioning system, missile warning, and intelligence from space.
