Como parte del programa “Escribir el Prado” –la Residencia Literaria Internacional patrocinada por la Fundación Loewe en el Museo del Prado–, se celebra un acto público que permite escuchar en directo al escritor o la escritora a la sazón residente. Tras la estancia de John Coetzee, Chloe Aridjis, Olga Tokarczuk y John Banville, tenemos en esta ocasión a Helen Oyeyemi, destacada escritora británica traducida a 14 idiomas que es conocida por su prosa lírica y su enfoque experimental, conversará con Valerie Miles, editora de Granta en español, sobre su obra, su enfoque del arte y la influencia de éste en su obra literaria.

La conversación que tendremos ocasión de escuchar se enmarca en los programas de una residencia literaria de tan especial interés como “Escribir el Prado”, cuyo desarrollo pone empeño en el contacto diario de los residentes con las colecciones de pintura, escultura y objetos custodiadas por el Museo y con el equipo humano que en él trabaja. En este programa se alternan autores con una trayectoria literaria muy consolidada con otros de prestigio internacional, pero cuyas publicaciones aún se sitúan en el momento medio de su carrera.
