Hal itu diberitakan oleh perusahaan Penyiaran Israel.
Menurut laporan otoritas Penyiaran Israel, Netanyahu ogah mampir di Eropa lantaran takut ditangkap oleh Pengadilan Kriminal Internasional (ICC).
Kantor Netanyahu mempelajari berbagai opsi untuk singgah di Eropa.
Salah satunya mempertimbangkan untuk mengadakan pertemuan politik di Republik Ceko atau Hongaria.
Hal itu karena kedua negara tersebut dianggap bersahabat dengan Israel.
Namun pada akhirnya Netanyahu memilih untuk tidak berhenti sama sekali dan melakukan penerbangan langsung ke AS.
Adapun sebelumnya pemerintah Israel mengirimkan surat kepada 25 Menteri Luar Negeri dari seluruh dunia.
Surat tersebut berisi permintaan mendesak agar surat perintah ICC terkait penangkapan Netanyahu dibatalkan. (Tribun-Video.com/Tribunnews.com)
