Vibe Season Day 27 | Helping People Find Nearby Webflow Events With a CMS-Powered App
In this Vibe Season build, Webflow’s Emma Genesen crafts an embeddable Events Finder that helps people discover nearby Webflow gatherings with speed and clarity. The experience pairs a stylish world map backdrop with a simple city input, then queries the Webflow CMS Events collection and surfaces upcoming meetups sorted by date.Watch the app deliver focused results in a responsive tile grid—each card showing the event name, city, image, start date/time, and a short description—while subtle hover effects and polished loading and error states keep the interaction feeling confident and calm. When no matches are found, the interface gently suggests virtual recordings with a clear CTA.
Built to drop into a Webflow Embed block, Emma’s implementation is modular, well-documented, and intentionally lightweight—designed so teams can embed localized event discovery anywhere on their site during Vibe Season.

Day 27 Prompt:
Build an embeddable Webflow app that helps users find Webflow events near them by entering their city. Display a decorative, responsive world map above a single city input with basic validation, then query the community/events CMS collection using the Events API.
Match events by city (case-insensitive), sort results by start date ascending, and display them in a responsive grid (3 columns desktop, 2 tablet, 1 mobile). Each event card should include the event name, location, image, start date/time, and description, with subtle hover effects on desktop.
If no events are found, show a friendly message and a CTA linking to virtual recordings (use a placeholder URL). Include lightweight styling, clear loading and error states, and modular, well-commented client-side code that works inside a Webflow Embed block. Provide both the full code and simple instructions for embedding it into a Webflow page.
