Kini para tersangka telah ditangkap dan ditahan.
Mereka memiliki peran, mulai dari melempar bom molotor, merusak fasilitas umum, hingga menghasur pelajar untuk ikut bertindak anarkis.
Demikian diungkap Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi saat konferensi pers, Selasa (2/9).
Ade Ary menjelaskan bahwa 38 tersangka ini berbeda dengan masa buruh dan mahasiswa yang menyampaikan aspirasi secara damai.
Menurutnya para pelaku anarkis ini datang ke lokasi sekitar gedung DPR, tidak melakukan kegiatan penyampaian pendapat.
Mereka langsung melakukan aksi anarkis yang mengganggu ketertiban umum.
Adapun peran 38 tersangka melakukan sejumlah aksi anarkitis, di antaranya.
Melempar bom molotov dan batu ke arah petugas.
Memukul petugas menggunakan bambu.
Selain itu ada yang diduga merusak mobil milik pejabat kementerian. serta membakar halte Transjakarta.
Membakar sepeda motor di belakang Gedung DPR.
Melakukan penyerangan ke Polsek Cipayung, Jakarta Timur.
Ada juga tersangka yang diduga menghasut pelajar untuk berbuat anarkis.
Akibat perbuatannya, 38 tersangka dijerat dengan berbagai pasal, di antaranya Pasal 160 KUHP tentang penghasutan, Pasal 170 KUHP tentang kekerasan bersama-sama di muka umum, Pasal 406 KUHP tentang pengrusakan, serta Pasal 212, 214, 216, dan 218 KUHP tentang melawan atau menghalangi petugas.
Ancaman hukumannya bervariasi, mulai dari dua tahun delapan bulan hingga enam tahun penjara.
Kini, penyidik masih terus mendalami kasus untuk mengungkap kemungkinan adanya pelaku lain.
